M. Ed. (Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling)- Brandon University.
In 2020, I successfully obtained a master's degree in guidance and counselling. This educational experience provided me with comprehensive knowledge of various counselling theories and helped me discover my own area of expertise. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of working with numerous adolescents who were facing difficulties in managing their anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Additionally, I had the opportunity to establish a counselling group specifically designed for graduating students, providing them with a safe environment to process the transitional changes they were going through. I also pursued certification with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, further enhancing my professional qualifications. As I embrace an ever-changing and expanding field, I eagerly anticipate continuing my personal and professional growth through ongoing learning opportunities.

Since completing my education degree in 2011, I have been actively involved in teaching high school within the Brandon School Division. My specialized subjects are Biology and Psychology, although I am always open to taking on new challenges. Working with the incredible young individuals in our community is truly a blessing, and their unwavering motivation and astonishing abilities continue to inspire me each day.

With a deep-rooted passion for medicine that has been ingrained in me since early on, selecting my field of study in university was a natural and effortless choice. Consequently, I successfully completed my degree program in 2009, graduating with honors to further solidify my commitment to this lifelong pursuit.
